 Last year a total of 66 players competed in this popular team event.
In this format both players tee off, the best positioned ball is selected and alternative shots are played from there until the ball is holed out. Each team received 3/8 of their combined handicaps as the allowance over the challenging desert styled links course. Men played from the blue tees at 6700 yards and ladies from the red tees at 5500 yards.

 The Dubai Duty Free Mixed Greensomes Stroke play Open at Arabian Ranches Golf Club has become an annual fixture.
The Greensomes Stroke play format is played by both the male and female player teeing off their respective tees and the best ball is then selected and played in alternate fashion until the ball is holed. This procedure is repeated for all 18 holes. The handicap allowance for the two player team is 3/8 of the players’ combined handicaps. Prizes will be awarded to the top 4 Gross and Net winners. |
